To monitor consumption, ease of cleaning. As promised, I'm able to track my horses' water consumption at any given time, and it only takes seconds to remove a bucket and replace it with a nice, clean, dry bucket that is automatically refilled. Saves lots of labor expense, and ensures fresh water every time.

I know the bowls and the water are clean every morning.

We installed two last Spring, they replaced Miraco Equifounts. Try mounting waterers back to back (i.e., in adjoining stalls) if possible.

A decent internet connection is necessary to use the tracking app to measure water consumption, but the waterers work fine even without internet. Installation is fairly easy for someone handy with PVC and/or basic repairs, but we did call in an electrical to install junction boxes for the transformers.

We had a couple of technical glitches early in the process but the Cascada team was quick to respond and resolve the issues.

We are a busy facility and we rely heavily on a few full time employees and many volunteers. We were looking for a system that would make keeping the horses waters filled and clean simple. We had tried auto waterers in the past and found them to be difficult to maintain, and we were always concerned the horses were not getting enough water.

We wanted something easy to dump and clean, which these buckets are. Wanted to make sure the horses had enough water, for long drinks, and did not want to rely on a float system, which we have found to be difficult to maintain.

We are saving so much time by not having to fill large water buckets, and also saving time not having to repair other automatic watering systems. I have a new understanding of how much each horse is drinking and appreciate being able to know if something changes in their routine.

Installed 5 units almost 2 years ago. We had regular water buckets and/or automatic waterers. My only tip is to hang the bucket lower than you might feel inclined to to make it easier for the horses to get their heads in the bucket to drink.

Issues were addressed with customer service quickly and efficiently, either by sending new parts or having a phone call to talk me through the issues.
